Deacon Reginald Stevens, Head of Deacon's Board
The Deacon’s Board aims to present a positive, respectful attitude and demeanor to both our church membership and those visiting our church services. We provide security for all events that take place at Love Center Ministries. The deacons always respond to requests for prayer, whether immediately or later, in or out of the sanctuary. We assist our pastors and ministers on the altar of prayer, provide visitation/phone calls to the sick and shut-in and bereaved when necessary or requested. We also facilitate the serving of the Lord’s Supper. Our deacons are responsible for our offering collections, securing our collections to the finance office, and assisting in the finance office with processing our offering collections. The deacons are responsible for the opening and closing of our church for all services, bible studies, and meetings.
